Jumping in puddles on a rainy day

Puddle Jumping!

SPLASH! Jumping in puddles, looking for worms, and catching raindrops on your tongue. This is childhood at its prime! EMBRACE the rain by dressing for the weather and exploring everything outside has to offer.

PRO TIP: Have towels and a change of clothes at the door for when you get home!

Host a teddy bear picnic

Kids missing their friends? Host a teddy bear picnic! This super fun indoor activity ended up taking up our morning! We were able to pick out a blanket, pick our friends, bake a lemon loaf, make sandwiches and put together a fun snack plate!

painting with crayola and sponges with construction paper stencil

Stencil painting

This is a super fun way to spend a rainy day since it is a bit different than regular painting days. Make stencil cutouts from construction paper, grab some sponges, and a whole lot of crayola paints (they are ultra washable!).

coffee filter with crayola marker sprayed with water and dried to make a butterfly

Coffee Filter Butterflies!

Thanks Chirp Magazine for such a great idea! Draw on the coffee filter with some crayola washable markers, spritz with water, let it dry and then accordion fold and tie with a pipe cleaner!! Colourful and fun, the perfect spring decor!
