Weather man!

The weather has been all over the spectrum these days… so our local weatherman gave us a rundown. This is a fun activity that you can use to teach your kids about the weather. All you need a a paper plate and some markers and your child is able to draw the weather and try to identify what type of weather it is outside!

Fruit Market pretend play

Group fun with the Fruit Market!! Imagination stations are our favourite.. the bigs teaching the littles about fruit names and how to play together. What could he better than that??

Safari Day

I’d be Lion if I said we didn’t have an elephant-astic time!!! SAFARI DAY WAS A HIT!! Grab stuffed animals, hide them outside…. make your kids some binoculars (check out @mymomcancraft for a quick tutorial!), crank up the animal themed music… and let them loose into the WILD! Bonus points if you make themed shirts with your Cricut. Check out our blog post to make your own safari day!

Safari Day Sensory Bin!

After running around, it was time to settle down…our mud sensory bin was the perfect activity. We love our Rubbermaid 23” large clear bin, which is so versatile! Outdoor muddy sensory bins are such a fun twist to a classic indoor activity.

Firefighter day

Junior firefighters! We had a snack in the park next to the local fire station and lucked out when a fire truck was pulling in! The kind firefighters left the truck in the driveway and opened the doors so that we could have a safe look at it. They also brought out some incredible goodie bags that have filled out afternoon with fun!! Create your own firefighter day!
