Indoor Toddler Scavenger Hunt!

A few weeks ago I created an outdoor winter scavenger hunt which the kids absolutely loved! My son keeps asking me to do it again and again so I figured lets do a scavenger hunt inside! Over rest time I changed the items on the list to things that can be found inside and it was ready once he was up!

What do you need?

  • Print this PDF or create your own scavenger hunt list.
  • Stickers! So that the kids can mark off what they have found (I would absolutely choose stickers over markers any day for this activity as they will absolutely drop the marker and/or lose the cap ha!)
  • TIP: I printed mine on cardstock (letting my son pick the color!) so it held up when running around

How to make it awesome!

  • Let your kid pick the stickers and color paper
  • Explain the idea over a snack (having a snack before an activity is an absolute must in this house!)
  • Once they find something on the list ask them to explain what they see
  • Bonus points!  Take a picture of what they found and then while making dinner put the pictures on slideshow and the toddler can show the other parent what they found.
  • Ask them what else they see, what interesting things did they notice around the house? its kind of fun hearing about your surrounding from a toddlers point of view

What was the most random thing your kid discovered in your house? IS your toddler wanting more? Try our OUTDOOR scavenger hunt!!
