Craftroom Reveal with Photowall Wallpaper!

The Easiest Craftroom Makeover with PHOTOWALL Wallpaper!

Craftroom renovations…they’re either someone’s dream job or someone’s nightmare! for me, I couldn’t seem to get my craftroom the way I had envisioned it in my head…until Jo helped me bring my vision to LIFE!

How did we do it? Well, firstly we used Jo’s INCREDIBLE organization abilities and her methodical brain to re-organize everything…and I mean EVERYTHING…into a fully functional system.

A lot of crafters have their crafting supplies etc, in the basement…and my craftroom is no exception. One of the biggest issues is that the basement can feel a bit like a dungeon or a bit dull…and not at all creativity inducing! When you’re mainly crafting for your family and your kids like we do, it needs to be a fun and creative environment that the kids would love to join in on the crafting!

So we needed to bring this craftroom into the next level…an unmatched explosion of colour! So we used PHOTOWALL RAINBOW CLOUDS WALLPAPER!!!!! Oh. My. Goodness. You guys….it was the best and easiest decision we ever made!

What is Photowall???

Photowall is an amazing company that “produces wallpaper, canvas prints and posters from hundreds of different styles created together with skilled photographers and designers”. And they’re not kidding!!! When we were trying to choose which wallpaper to go with, we honestly got lost in the beauty of every single design they had.

We knew we wanted colourful wallpaper and they have the most options I have ever seen in designs. They not only have pre-designed prints, but they will also take an image YOU have taken and create it into a canvas of any size, or even an ENTIRE FEATURE WALL!!!

How we chose our design!

The amount of choices they had for multicoloured designs of wallpaper was astonishing. As you know, our My Mom Can Craft colours are teal and pink, so naturally I wanted to rebrand my craftroom in those colours. It helped us narrow down the selection and we fell in love with this Rainbow Clouds pattern wallpaper. Because my craftroom is in the basement, the walls are not as tall as in the rest of the house. The great feature that Photowall has is that when you input the dimensions of your wall, it allows you to crop the design by moving the sized box to select the colours/features that you want.

For me, I chose to select the teal base to the top of the pink colours for my walls! The perfect colours for my craftroom!

The EASIEST wallpaper to apply!

The boxes of wallpaper came within a week of our order! So incredibly fast! At the checkout, they offer a wallpaper application kit, which I HIGHLY recommend. It has everything you need in it and makes the process stress free.

The wallpaper is incredibly high quality that you can feel as you unroll it. We ordered the premium wallpaper which is scuff resistant and can be cleaned with cleaning products, among other features! For more information on standard vs. premium read here!

For context, Jo and I have NEVER applied wallpaper in our lives…and so we had no idea how long it would take…we were absolutely surprised when it only took us TWO HOURS total for the entire room! Photowall’s wallpaper comes in numbered consecutive rolls and simple instructions that make it basically fool proof. The part that took the longest was an extra few measurements we made because of how my craftroom is laid out. I honestly think that if one was doing a simple room, the entire wallpapering process would only take an hour or so!!!

THE FINAL CRAFTROOM REVEAL!!

TA-DAAAA! Oh my goodness. I am BLOWN AWAY by the look and feel of my craftroom now. It is leaps and bounds beyond my wildest dreams! The wallpaper from Photowall is so incredible, high quality and makes this room stand out in a league of its own.

Thank you so much, Photowall, for this incredible design that has given my craftroom it’s unique and creative style that I get to enjoy every single day! And also a massive thank you to Jo for her incredible organization and design abilities!

We will share the entire craftroom renovation and organization soon, but in the meantime, please check out Photowall and everything that they have to offer! Such an awesome company and an amazing variety of designs!

Happy crafting,

Mandy
