Painting!

There is something so beautiful about watching a child paint and use their imagination. Sometimes just giving them colours, a blank page, and letting imagination take the steering wheel is the best activity

toddler rolling play doh with playdoh kit and cutters

Play- doh!

A classic, especially for a rainy day.  This set is from Amazon and has brought us so many hours of play!

Match Game

Super simple match game with numbers! Grab an old paper towel roll, write numbers 1-10 or the alphabet all around.  Get some plain coloured stickers and write the same numbers on them. Have your child match the sticker numbers to the paper towel numbers!

Scooping Foam

Grab a sensory bin or large clear bin, add some water, lots of dishsoap… even try some bubble bath! Then a dash of food colouring to spice it up. Grab a few toys and scoops (measure cups, ladle and cups work best!) and some toys… and you’ve got an hours worth of sensory play!
