Kids Grab & Go bags

What do you do when your kids have outgrown a traditional diaper bag?  Having a toddler and a kindergartener means I still need A LOT of stuff but I don’t want to be hauling around a diaper bag.  The main thing that I noticed is that I don’t need to carry EVERYTHING around all the time. Just some of the time. So I decided to create “Grab & Go” bags that store all of the important things I typically find I need.  I used Cricut’s cosmetic bag blanks and their infusible ink to make designs so its easy to find which bag I want.  I made some for spare clothes for each kid, a first aid kit, a bag for the stroller rain cover and one for pull ups and wipes.  The best part – I keep them in a cute basket by the door so I can just grab whatever “grab & go” bags I need depending on what kid(s) I have and where I am going and either toss them in the bottom of the stroller or in the bag I am taking.

Spare Pair!

I made a bag for each of the kids spare clothing. This way I only needed to take what clothing is needed and not a massive bag filled with mismatched clothing. The other benefit is that I can toss the bag in the washer with the dirty clothing without the risk of it fading!

Arguably the most needed thing a parent can take with them. Here is what I included!

Clean up bag

We are past the point of needing a lot of diapers and wipes. However I still need a few pull-ups and a small pack of wipes just in case!  I have one of the small wipe containers that fits in perfectly and keeps the wipes moist even when not frequently used.

Rain Cover for kids

Stroller Rain Cover Bag

Having the rain cover easily accessible is so key to me.  They are bulky and annoying to store.  I needed the largest size of the cosmetic bag for this one but it fit in without struggle which is great.  Now I keep the rain cover in the bottom of the stroller and no longer caught without it!
